Facing Châteauneuf de Chabre, the small village of Antonaves is nestled on the slope of St. Cyr Mountain, sheltered from the devastating floods of the Méouge torrent.

Antonaves shows harmonious outlines with its beautiful stone houses, surrounded by greenery; fountains and ancient wash-houses decorate the streets creating a typical Provencal ambiance where numerous hikers can quench their thirst.

For example : "tour of Meouge canyon" -  Departure : Roman Bridge of Châteauneuf de Chabre - Distance : 12.3 km - Heigh difference : 770 m - Difficulty :3/5  - Average duration: 4h30). You can buy the topo-guide at the tourist office.


Do not miss the jewel of the village, a pretty little church with a wall belfry adorned with a sundial. You can enjoy an unobstructed view over the valley and the impressive fortress of Mison.
